A Winter Wonderland

“The winter is so much fun, it’s the best season”, that’s what some of my friends say. And partly I agree! I love those few sunny, perfect winter days when you’re able to ice skate on the lakes and drink a lot of hot cocoa.

But mostly it’s just cloudy and sooooo extremely dark all the time!! In the mornings on my way to school, it’s entirely dark outside and in the afternoon when I’m done with all my classes it’s dark on the way home :(( So right now it is all dark.

Wait no, that sounds so sad. And don’t take me wrong it isn’t dark all the time I’m just inside school those hours when it’s actually light outside.

This weekend my family and I went to the zoo we have in the city I live in! It’s called Kolmården. Maybe you’ve heard of it? Let me know in the comment if you have!

Anyways, right now they have a theme called “A fairy Christmas” and the photos down below are from “the North Pole” they had built up. It was nicely done, they had a Santa in a big tent so all the kids could leave their wishlists and you could grill marshmallows around a fire. And also they had this horrible choir of tree women who sang Christmas songs. My mom and I sat and laughed quietly at their bad voices, not that we are much better…

Btw, all the snow you see in the photos is just fake-snow, it hasn’t been snowing that much yet!
