How has my Life Changed Under One Year of Blogging?

Today’s October 25th, maybe not when I’m posting this but well.. it’s still one year. Today I’ve officially had my blog for 1 year. Which is so crazy!! I feel like the time has gone both so fast and so slow in some way. It feels like I’ve been blogging for my whole life because I literally can’t remember how my life was yesterday for a year ago (before I decided to start my blog). Starting this blog of mine has been one of the best decisions I’ve made. It has only gone one year and I’ve gained so many readers, friends, knowledge about media and by blogging in English, which is my second language I’m getting more fluent everyday. Speaking and writing in English has became a part of my everyday life. Which actually have improved my grades in English class haha. I’m proud of myself and of this blog.

For me this platform is where I can share daily stuff, my opinions, things that I believe in and have opinions about. My family always describes me as a person who has opinions about nearly everything so I think starting a blog has also been a place for me to write my mind of sometimes.

Keeping a diary and memories

By writing down stuff I’ve done and by sharing it with you all out there I save my memories and can show other people things I’ve experienced in my life. Which is something important for me. My goal with my blog is to share things and photos of things I’ve seen that nobody really asks me about. Like if you know someone that’s been abroad you never really know what incredible or bad things they’ve seen. You have no idea. When I travel with my family I of course post a few pictures on my Instagram but when I come home I always regret not posting even more photos lol. And if I don’t blog about my trip my friends and other people I know probably know about 10% of what I did on my travel. Which I think is a shame. And that’s actually one of the main reasons why I started to blog.

Online friends and about learning from other bloggers

The internet is fantastic, right?? You can meet so many amazing people through a screen. Which is just weirdly cool. I can talk to someone on the other side of earth and this year I’ve got to known so many amazing bloggers and really connected with some. Bloggers supporting other bloggers is such a powerful thing. By supporting someone else’s blog we help each other grow our platforms and as persons. I’m so happy I choose to have my site at WordPress. The WordPress community is such a kind and supportive group of people and I’m glad I’m a part of it. There’s bloggers in nearly every age category which I find so incredibly great. We all learn from each other and it doesn’t matter if you don’t have that much life experience, we all have our own stories and I believe we always can learn something from somebody else, no matter what age they might be in.

Thank you all for always supporting and helping me to grow my blog. I hope we can keep being a great blog community.

XO, TUVA
