20 Travel Quotes For People With A Big Wanderlust

Hey guys, I’m back here with another blogpost. I simply thought that since you guys LOVED my last post with quotes (15 inspirational travel quotes) I would post another one for you!

Right now there’s panic and stress over this virus we all hear about daily, the coronavirus. I’m not going to dig that deep into that because I don’t think you need to hear even more about it. Some choose panic, fear and stress. But there’s still love, positivity, joy and kindness. Choose wisely!! Of course it’s important to be careful and think of those at risk, but nothing will be better because of panic.

The virus will take down your physical health, don’t let it consume your mental health as well. That’s entirely up to you and what mindset you choose to have.

Even though it’s not super smart to travel right now, definitely not something I would risk in a time like this, we still need to feel a bit of wanderlust. Don’t we?! Let’s dream a little about when it’s safe to travel this beautiful world again.

Okey so what do you say? Let’s bring some travel spirit!

(All pictures in this blogpost are my own)

“Travel is not a reward for working, it’s eduaction for living.”

“Of all the books in the world, the best stories are found between the pages of a passport”.

“The most beautiful things in life are not things. They’re people, and places, and memories, and pictures. They’re feelings and moments and smiles and laughter.”

“Edit your life ruthlessly and frequently. It’s your masterpiece after all.”

“Wanderlust consumed her; foreign hearts and exotic minds compelled her. She had a gypsy soul and a vibrant hope for the unknown.”

“If you look like your passport picture, you probably need the trip!”

“And then there is the most dangerous risk of all – the risk of spending your life not doing what you want on the bet that you can buy yourself the freedom to do it later.”

“The entire planet is your home. Staying in one city your whole life would be like never leaving the bedroom.”

“Birds literally just travel, eat and shit on things they don’t like. I don’t know about you but that’s the lifestyle I’m thriving for.”

“I’ll never be content to stay forever in one place. I’m too madly in love with all the places I haven’t been, the people I haven’t met, the food I haven’t tried and the streets I haven’t danced on.”

“The best education you will ever get is traveling the world. Nothing teaches you more than exploring the world and accumulating experiences.”

“We travel beacuse we need to, because distance and difference are the secret to creativity. When we get home, home is still the same, but something in our minds has changed , and that changes everything.”

“That moment when you get asked where you got something and you answer with the name of the country and not the store.”

“I wish travel therapy were covered by my health insurance.”

“Take a little break. One minute. Don’t talk. Just look. And see the beauty.”

“Normality is a paved road: It’s comfortable to walk, but no flowers grow.” – Vincent Van Gogh

“Let’s wander where the wifi is weak.”

“I want to make memories all over the world.”

“Please be a traveler and not a tourist. Try new things, meet new people, and look beyond what’s right in front of you. Those are the keys to understanding this amazing world we live in.”

“Travel is rebellion in its purest form. We follow our heart. We free ourselves from labels. We lose control willingly. We trade a role for reality. We love the unfamiliar. We trust strangers. We own only what we can carry. We search for better questions, not answers. We truly graduate. We, sometimes, choose to never come back.”

  2. Awesome, I’m wanderlust and my favorite quote here is “take a lil break, don’t talk and see beauty” that’s how I want to live. There is beauty in traveling

    1. I love that one too. I don’t want to live my life through my phone like you often see that people do. A lot of people focus on taking pictures rather than actually living in the moment with their own eyes. I feel like that quote speaks a little bit of that, how we have to stop and just see the beauty. Traveling is indeed beauty!! ❤ Thank you so much for reading!

  3. It’s hard right now for those of us who are cancelling travel plans that we were looking forward to, but reading quotes like this helps to fill that wanderlust temporarily while we wait for better times ahead! We still have some summer trips booked and are really hoping that everyone is able to adhere to social distancing and quarantine guidelines so that we can get this under control and return to our daily lives again!

    1. That’s exactly what I hoped this post would do and I’m sorry you had to cancel your travel plans. I understand that it must feel frustrating. I have hope for summer and that it can be a great summer for all of us. This is not fun and I’m so looking forward to going back to our daily lives! Thank you so much for reading this post! :))

  4. I love that you are spreading positivity. These travel quotes are great! I totally agree with them. The world is our oyster. If we can travel, we should. Although it is a luxury, it is something that we should do if we can. Thanks for sharing all of this!

    1. Totally agree! If we are able to travel, that is a big luxury and we should absolutely not take that privilege for granted! I’m so so grateful that I have grown up exploring the world together with my family. Hope you’re doing okey Nancy! Thanks for reading!

    1. Ah I like that one too! I know people who have the possibility and afford to travel (not right now though but usually) and don’t want to because they “don’t like it”. I know everyone’s different but how can you NOT like exploring this beautiful planet?!

I’m so looking forward to travel after this whole messed up situation. At least the earth and our climate get something positive out of it❤️🌍
